Civic Engagement

The Civic Engagement Team hosts meetings, forums, trainings, and direct action events, such as:

  • Voter registration drives

  • Community education on issues, policies, and legislation

  • Participation in community events like Pride and Juneteenth to ensure there is a Democratic presence

  • Marches, rallies, and vigils

  • Phone, email, and postcard campaigns

  • Supporting Democratic candidates

  • Finding creative ways to increase the participation of community members in civic life
